General Questions

Do we sell or install complete brand new cabinets?

No , and that's actually a good thing for your wallet. We specialize entirely in transforming the cabinets you already have. We don't carry, sell, or install new cabinet boxes. Instead, we give your existing cabinets a stunning new look through professional refinishing and refacing , without the massive cost or disruption of a full replacement.

When should I choose cabinet refinishing vs. refacing?

Refinishing is the best option when your existing cabinet doors and structure are in good condition, but you want to update the color or finish. It's a cost-effective way to refresh your space without replacing materials.
Refacing is ideal when you want a more dramatic transformation, such as changing the door style, updating drawer fronts, or modernizing the overall look while still keeping your existing cabinet boxes.

So what exactly is cabinet refinishing?

Refinishing means we strip, prep, and apply a fresh coat of professional-grade paint or stain directly to your existing cabinet boxes, frames, and surfaces. The structure stays exactly where it is, we just transform how it looks. The result is a smooth, factory-quality finish that can make cabinets that are decades old look completely brand new.

Which is better for me—refinishing or refacing?

It depends on your goals and budget. Refinishing is ideal if you like your current door style and just want a color update. Refacing is perfect if you want a completely different look with new doors and hardware. We'll help you decide during your free consultation.

How much does it cost compared to replacement?

Both refinishing and refacing typically cost 50-70% less than full cabinet replacement, while delivering beautiful, professional results.

How long will my cabinets last after refinishing or refacing?

With proper care, your refinished or refaced cabinets can last many years. Our finishes are designed for durability and daily use.

Will my kitchen or bathroom be gutted during the process?

Absolutely not, that's one of the biggest advantages of our service. Your cabinet boxes stay in place throughout the entire process. There's no demolition, no construction mess, and no need to relocate your plumbing or appliances. Most projects are completed in a fraction of the time a full replacement would take, with far less disruption to your daily routine.

What rooms can this be done in?

Refinishing Questions

What exactly does cabinet refinishing involve?

Refinishing is a professional process where we thoroughly clean, degrease, sand, and prep your existing cabinet surfaces ,then apply a fresh coat of high-quality paint or stain. We work on your cabinet boxes, frames, and existing doors and drawer fronts in place, restoring them to a like-new finish without removing or replacing anything.

Can you change the color of my cabinets?

Absolutely! We offer hundreds of colors—from classic whites to bold blues, warm wood tones, and trendy grays.

My cabinets are old, can they still be refinished?

In most cases, yes. Age alone isn't a disqualifier. What matters is that the cabinet boxes are structurally intact, no major warping, rot, or water damage. If your cabinets are solid but just look tired, worn, yellowed, or outdated, refinishing can give them an entirely new life. We assess every cabinet before we start and will always tell you honestly if something isn't a good candidate.

How long does refinishing take?

Most refinishing projects are completed in 3-5 days.

Do I need to empty out my cabinets before you arrive?

Yes, we recommend clearing out the contents of your cabinets before we begin, especially anything stored near or on top of the cabinets. This helps protect your belongings and gives us full access to every surface. We'll walk you through exactly what to prepare during your consultation so there are no surprises on day one.

Will the finish hold up to daily use?

Yes! Our factory-grade finishes are designed to withstand years of regular use, far exceeding the durability of DIY paint.

Can you refinish laminate cabinets?

In most cases, yes. We'll assess your cabinets during the consultation to ensure they're good candidates for refinishing.

What types of finishes are available with cabinet refinishing?

We offer a variety of finishes including paints, stains, and specialty coatings. Our proprietary MM-4 bonding agent ensures the finish adheres well and lasts 10-15 years or more, giving your cabinets a durable and beautiful surface.

Is cabinet refinishing a messy or disruptive process?

Our refinishing process is designed to be minimally disruptive. Most projects are completed within a few days, and we use safe, low-odor products and techniques to keep your home comfortable during the work.

Will refinishing improve the value of my home?

Absolutely. Updated, well-maintained cabinets enhance the overall look and appeal of your home, potentially increasing its market value.

Refacing Questions

What does cabinet refacing actually mean?

Refacing means we remove and replace your existing cabinet doors and drawer fronts with brand new ones , giving you a completely fresh style, profile, or material. At the same time, we refinish your existing cabinet boxes and frames to perfectly match the new doors. The layout of your kitchen or bathroom stays exactly the same, but everything you can see and touch looks completely new.

How is refacing different from refinishing?

With refinishing, we restore the look of your existing current doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet boxes, everything stays in place. With refacing, we go a step further: your old doors and drawer fronts come off and are replaced with brand new ones, while your cabinet boxes are refinished to match. Refacing is the better choice when you want a new door style, a different profile, or a more significant visual upgrade.

Do you tear out my entire kitchen cabinets ?

No demolition, no gutting. Your cabinet boxes , the structures mounted to your walls, stay exactly where they are throughout the entire process. We remove only the doors and drawer fronts, replace them with the new ones you've chosen, and refinish the boxes to match. It's a clean, low-disruption process that takes days, not weeks.

How do i know if my cabinets are good candidates for refacing?

The main requirement is that your existing cabinet boxes are structurally sound , no significant water damage, rot, or warping. If the frames are solid and well-built, refacing is almost always a great option regardless of how outdated they look. We evaluate every cabinet during the consultation and will give you an honest assessment. If something isn't a good candidate, we'll tell you upfront.

Can I change the door style with refacing?

Yes! You can choose from multiple door styles: shaker, raised panel, flat slab, and more.

Do you replace the hinges and hardware?

Yes, all hinges and hardware are replaced as part of the refacing process.

What happens to my existing cabinet boxes?

We keep your existing cabinet structure and refinish the exterior to match your new doors and drawer fronts.

Can I add cabinets or change the layout?

Refacing works with your existing layout. If you want to add cabinets or change the layout, that would require a different approach. We can discuss options during consultation.

What materials are used in cabinet refacing?

We use high-quality materials such as wood veneers, laminates, and custom doors that match your style preferences. Our proprietary MM-4 bonding agent ensures long-lasting adhesion and durability for all refacing materials.

Can all cabinets be refaced?

Most cabinet boxes in good condition can be refaced. Our technicians will assess your cabinets to ensure they are suitable for refacing and recommend the best approach for your project.

Will cabinet refacing increase the value of my home?

Absolutely. Updated cabinets enhance the overall appearance and appeal of your kitchen or commercial space, which can increase property value and attract potential buyers.

Do you offer warranties or guarantees on cabinet refacing?

Yes, we stand behind our workmanship and materials. Our finishes and refacing components are designed to last, and we work closely with you to ensure your complete satisfaction
