What You'll Do:
Empty all cabinets of contents
Clear countertops near work area
Remove breakables from nearby spaces
What We'll Do:
Arrive on scheduled date with all materials
Protect floors, counters, and adjacent areas
Set up proper ventilation (for refinishing)
Begin surface preparation
The Transformation
For Refinishing Projects:
- Day 1: Professional cleaning of all surfaces, remove hardware temporarily, thorough sanding to create ideal surface, repair any imperfections or damage, apply primer coat
- Day 2: Apply first finish coat, allow proper cure time between coats
- Day 3: Apply second and final finish coats, reinstall hardware, begin final cure
- Day 4-5: Quality inspection, final cure completion, cleanup and reveal
For Refacing Projects:
- Day 1: Remove existing doors and drawer fronts, prepare cabinet boxes for refinishing, begin refinishing cabinet box exteriors
- Day 2: Complete cabinet box refinishing, begin installing new doors
- Day 3: Install remaining doors and all drawer fronts, install new hinges, attach new hardware
- Day 4: Final adjustments for perfect alignment, quality inspection, cleanup and reveal
